adesso-home-oscar-wall-lamp-4279
Oscar Wall Lamp

A painted metal cone on a short arm gives this hardwired wall lamp a crisp, mid-century look. It comes in black or white, each with antique brass touches that warm the metal and tie it to the rest of the Oscar pieces.

About 11 inches tall and 6.25 inches wide, with a projection of roughly 14.5 inches, it works beside a bed in place of a nightstand lamp, over a reading chair, or as a directional light in a hallway. Mount it around 48 to 60 inches from the floor beside a bed so the shade sits above shoulder height.

It hardwires to a junction box, and a 5-inch round backplate covers the opening. One medium-base socket accepts a bulb up to 40 watts, and the cone directs the light into a focused pool, which suits reading or highlighting a piece of art.

Designer tip: Install a pair on either side of the bed to free up nightstand space.

Adesso Home
Black W.
