It gives a contemporary, finished look without the visible can and trim ring of older recessed fixtures.

At 7.9 inches across it reads as a quiet, even dot of light, so it suits kitchens, hallways, family rooms, closets and basements where you want general light without a fixture on display. Space several in a grid for ambient light, roughly as far apart as your ceiling is high, and keep them a couple of feet back from the walls.

Each disk is an integrated 15-watt LED rated at 900 lumens with a CRI of 80 and a warm 3000K color, close to the tone of a traditional bulb. It is damp rated, so it can also serve a bathroom ceiling or a covered porch.

Designer tip: Run a whole room of these on one switch so the ceiling reads as a single, calm plane of light.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0134/3913/9911/files/jpg_ed1df972-30f4-4978-959c-f9a4a566f907.jpg?v=1792043292
