house-of-troy-mendon-direct-wire-picture-light-dmledz15
Mendon 15" LED Direct Wire Picture Light

Mendon keeps a picture light simple: a slim 15-inch metal hood on a straight arm, with clean lines that suit a transitional or mid-century room as easily as a gallery wall. Finish choices run from Satin Brass and Antique Brass to Satin Nickel, Chrome and Oil Rubbed Bronze, so you can echo a frame or the hardware nearby.

A picture light usually spans about half to two-thirds of the frame, which puts this size over artwork roughly 22 to 30 inches wide. The arm reaches out 8 inches, and the 19 by 2.75 inch backplate mounts above the frame, with a 5 by 6 inch cover plate supplied to hide a standard junction box.

This version is wired in place, so plan for a box above the painting. The integrated LED draws 4.5 watts and delivers 360 lumens at a warm 2700K with a 90 CRI, so reds and skin tones in the art read true. Mendon is made in the USA.

Designer tip: Have the electrician center the junction box on the artwork before the wall is patched and painted.
