hubbardton-forge-link-16-inch-blown-glass-bath-sconce-201392
Link 16" Blown Glass Bath Sconce

A thick hand-blown glass shade from AO Glass in Burlington, Vermont hangs from a slim low-voltage cable off a small wall canopy, so the light looks suspended. Clear bubble glass or clear glass with white threading are the options, and the steel is finished in Modern Brass.

The cable drop adjusts from 19.5 to 77.5 inches, which lets you hang it beside a vanity mirror, above a nightstand or as a soft accent in a hallway nook. A pair flanking a bath mirror, set around 60 to 66 inches high, gives even light on the face.

A transformer in the wall canopy takes standard 120V and feeds a G4 socket for a G4 LED bulb up to 4 watts, so the glow is soft and decorative. The sconce is direct wire and damp rated for bathrooms. Made to order in Vermont.

Designer tip: Use the white threading glass when the sconce sits in direct view, as it softens the bulb.

Handcrafted in the USA by Modern American Blacksmiths. Hubbardton Forge has designed and built its lighting in Vermont since 1974.
