kichler-lighting-accessory-mounting-junction-15609
Landscape Mounting Junction

A mounting junction gives a landscape fixture a solid base and a protected spot for its connection when you are mounting to a wall, an eave or a deck instead of the ground. This one is about 2.4 to 2.5 inches wide, 5 inches long and roughly 1.8 inches tall, depending on the version.

Use it to surface mount an accent light or spotlight on a fascia to wash a facade, under an eave to downlight a walkway, or on a deck structure to light steps. It gives a cleaner installation than a stake or loose wire on hard surfaces.

It comes in textured architectural bronze, textured black or centennial brass, so it can match the fixture it supports. Some versions are wet rated. It is a 12-volt landscape accessory.

Designer tip: Mount junctions under an overhang where possible to keep connections out of direct rain.
