Legacy brass warms the glass so the look reads rich rather than icy.

Nearly 40 inches wide (39.75) and 37.5 inches tall, it calls for a two-story entry, a large dining room or an open living space where the ceiling can carry real volume. With 144 inches of chain on hand, hang it so the bottom stays at or above the second-floor window line in a tall foyer. It weighs about 98.5 pounds, so plan on a properly rated ceiling box.

Each of the fifteen candelabra sockets takes a B10.5 bulb up to 60 watts. Expect bright, faceted light with plenty of play across the ceiling, and a damp rating if you have a covered, sheltered spot in mind.

Designer tip: Have the fixture installed by an electrician who can confirm the box and support are rated for its weight.
