It is a practical choice when you want the fan to work like any other fixture in the room.

The plate is about 4.13 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall, projecting roughly 1.75 inches from the wall. Place it at the same height as nearby light switches, close to the door to the porch or room it serves. Check your Aluma fan's manual to confirm the model before you buy, since fan controls are system specific.

Unlike most wall controls, the WC106L carries a damp rating, so it can go in a bathroom or on a covered porch or covered patio wall where moisture is present but rain does not hit it directly. An electrician should handle the wiring and the connection to the fan circuit.

Designer tip: Mount it inside the door rather than on the porch wall when the space is fully open to weather.
