It sits between the trim and the ceiling surface to help close the gap around the opening.

It measures 7.5 inches across and is only about an eighth of an inch thick, so it hides behind the trim once installed. It is most useful in remodels and new installs where the ceiling opening is slightly uneven or a trim does not sit fully tight. Check that it matches the size of your recessed trim before ordering.

Because it has no visible finish, it does not change the look of the trim. Installation is usually straightforward, but have an electrician or installer confirm compatibility with your housing and trim.

Designer tip: Order one per recessed light so every trim sits evenly across the ceiling.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0134/3913/9911/files/418491_b8aae466-66d7-48cd-8b06-ca5491ee797a.jpg?v=1791341290
